Aliviado Dementia Care

The Aliviado Dementia Care Program provides learners with practical, evidence-based, best practices on how to support persons living with dementia and their caregivers. The program helps the learner understand dementia, how to communicate effectively with persons living with dementia and their caregivers, and address common challenges including behavioral symptoms, weight loss and eating and feeding challenges, and avoiding hospitalizations and ED visits, in a person and caregiver centered fashion. The program is 4 hours in length and is broken up into short modules. Learners are also provided a toolbox of educational materials and care plans which can be used, putting into everyday practice the evidence discussed in the modules.
